Allow me to explain. Last week, we bought some soap made with goat's milk. Not just any goat, mind you, but our favorite blogging goat Pricilla, proud mother of the new kid on the block, Kevin.

We showered using the lemongrass massage barWe do enjoy supporting our fellow bloggers, and are big fans of the buy hand made movement, along with supporting independent entrepreneurs. On my blog, I have a widget for such a site, and really encourage everyone to visit places like etsydotcom for all the purchases that you can. Some individuals, like my friend Kate, sell hand made products (Kate makes and sells quilts) on their blogs.
I just got a beautiful bracelet for the Crotchety Old Lady for her birthday, which is in July. She got to the mail first, so it became an Easter gift.
Anyway, I bought it from Rose Works Jewelry and Mrs. is very pleased with it.
Please check out hand made and independent sellers first. It supports our community, and helps our country.
Besides, WalMart has enough money, and has done so much to destroy the fabric of America. And, no, the fabric of America is not what XXXL sweatsuits are made from.

ReplyDeleteThey are lawn mowers, their milk makes excellent cheese, their pelts can be made into leather, they are relatively easy to take care of, and they are delicious!
They are by far the most overlooked animal, at least in the west.
I lurve handmade everything, but soap is an obsession, and Rosey Posey of Roseworks Jewelry is a good friend. She will be very pleased!

I couldn't agree more and I absolutely love Pricilla's soap. I'm biased of course because I am Kevin's official human aunt. I decided not too long ago that I would support my fellow bloggers in whatever way I could and I am glad to say I have been pleased with all their products. I've also made some great friends along the way.

ReplyDeleteAs to eating goat I myself wouldn't eat goat but I know the publicist is getting ready to do something with Abby as her bruises have bruises. Abby is a problem goat.
The publicist made some good cheddar and colby cheese with our milk this year. She can't wait to make more.
