After nearly 2 months of getting poked and prodded, and really lousy food, I'm going home today.

I couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you.

  12. Is this an insurance company's "we're done paying" go home or the hospital's "you're all better" go home?

    Yippee! Yay!

That is wonderful DOM. And I'll be sending you my bill for all the "emotional support" I gave to you.

  20. I'm so happy for you. Now perhaps you can get a full nights sleep. That is unless Mrs. Crotchety wakes you up at 4a.m. to see if you want up at 4:30a.m. Bwahahahahahaha. She wouldn't do that.

Enjoy being home. Have a terrific day. :)

  23. Way to go Joe!!!!!!!!! About time. Now it's on to more important things like catching up with lost episodes of t.v. favs on TVLand and Nick--
Congratulations. Just remember that if you should blow up like a blowfish again, go to the hospital rather than wait until you grow to the couch.

  30. What good news!
Finally, you can eat stuff from your own kitchen, and watch your own TV, and use a bathroom you're used to.

Whenever my mom goes on a vacation, she says one of the things she misses the most is peeing in her own toilet.

If only there were Hallmark cards that focused on this.

  31. AWESOME! I just got goosebumps when I read that a a tear of joy! I am so glad we all sent enough love and you felt it. You kept up your positive attitude and it paid off for you.

I will continue to pray for your recovery. I know it will be a long one.

I will also pray for Mrs C for the strength NOT to strangle you. You men make the WORST patients you know ;)

    Big hugs!
