Still On Drugs

Just wanted to let everyone know that Joe is out of ICU and off the telemetry floor. Believe it or not he is back on the floor he spent 4 weeks on with his pretty nurse friends. Just waiting for him to start more p/t and the weaning off of his favorite pain med, come back to reality and blogging...

  2. Ditto what Sandee said. I'm glad to know he's making progress-- been thinking about him.

I'm sure you both will be so glad to have him back home and to get things more back to normal.

Y'know with him yelling at cars and watching infomercials, gameshows and Bollywood films. :)

  3. Great news! Thank you so much for the update Mrs. C. Please extend my well wishes to Joe. Hope to see him back around here real soon.

  4. Well, I'm certainly happy that perhaps he's over the hump. At least I know we all hope so. Tell him that if he is weaned off the pain meds before his prescriptions run out that I'll take them off his hands. I know what a burden pain killers can be.

Ah once again thank-you so much for the update Mrs C!

I've been wondering and thinking about him a lot lately, so I was so glad to see this update.

Still keeping him (but not his maggots) in my thoughts and prayers!

  12. Poor Joe, having to give up his favourite pain meds. Yes we look forward to his return to blogging. I'm sure, too, you guys are looking forward to the time Joe can go home. This can't be easy on you either Mrs C. I hope, for both of you, that things return to some semblance of normal soon.

  16. Ya know, in most cases I would say the pretty nurses heal patients faster, but in poor Joe's case, I think they might make it worse!!

Get the ugly nurses Joe, only the ugly ones!!

Good to hear things are moving along now, can't wait till they are back to normal and the good ol' days of yelling at the T.V.

  22. Add my name to the vast throngs of people who are hoping you get well soon.
    The blogosphere misses you.

If I could afford it, I would send you a bouquet of pork rolls.

Although that might not help your progress, so maybe it's just as well. :)

Reality is not all it's cracked up to be ;)
So glad to hear he is doing better. Let him have the happy meds as long as he can. He has plenty of time to return to his crotchety old self.
Crotchety + dazed on the meds probably = some major entertainment. Ha!

  27. Ditto the thanks for the update and the prayers and the starting to worry, Mrs. C.

Ditto also on the 'I can help dispose of the meds' and pretty nurses do not always help the healing process:)

Looking forward to DOM's return to reality.

Take care of yourself, too, Mrs. C.

  31. Thank Goodness! So glad to hear he made it through OK so far. Must be all the hard time everybody's giving him at his roast all over the blogosphere.

I hope you and Mr. Crotchety co-habitate in your own home again soon. Thanks for the updates Mrs. C. (I feel like Fonzie, saying that).
