Change is coming

I expect to be discharged in a few weeks. Mrs. Crotchety isn't too thrilled with my embracing of the diapered life, and she mentioned something about potty training.

Or was it paper training?

Ether way, warm soapy water clean ups are a thing of the past.

And I don't expect to say "Don't be shy, dig in there," anytime again soon.

Youse may have noticed I'm answering your cumments again. Proof I'm doing better.

I'll cut this short as the ambulance will be here shortly to take me to the doctors for an appointment and the pain meds are kicking in.

In about 5 minutes the hallucinations start.

  1. Hallucinations??

Maybe when you sober up you'll find that this whole experience was actually just a really bad chemical trip, and you're somewhere else entirely..

Either that, or the Mrs. decided to hire a nurse to come in and wash your naughty bits so that she didn't have to..

    Either way, it's a win-win, isn't it?

    Cheers on going home DOM!

    Hallucinations? (Sorry Jormie)

Would you quit your bragging? I never got hallucies with my pain meds.

Note to self: need STRONGER, much STRONGER pain meds.

So will you be having a blog giveaway with some of those pain meds, erm, I mean DEPENDS!

    Either one, it's a WINNER!

  3. Good news Joe. Don't know how you have done it, but you have done it. Pull through this nightmare I mean. At least you're going in the right direction. Can't wait to get you back on a regular basis!

  6. Great to hear you are better enough to be discharged soon -- and to respond to comments.

Don't just embrace the diapers. Embrace the hallucinations. It's a crazy world. I'm convinced that hallucinations can help -- not that I'm talking from experience.

Continue to get better and better.

  13. I'm still laughing at "Don't be shy; dig in there!"

It is wonderful that you are doing better.

I'd celebrate by eating a pork roll, but we don't have those in Michigan. So instead I'll just nod appreciatively at the next can of Spam I see.

  14. One thing about it DOM... after turning into a prescription dope fiend... those standard over-the-tailgate illegal drugs just won't be the same anymore.

Good to see you're getting better.

  15. "Don't be shy, dig in there." I think the meds may have kicked in sooner than you realized.

  18. I'm glad you are doing better. I hope you get to go home very, very soon. and I am sure Mrs. C. does too in spite of the diapers.

Now, as I goat I don't worry about such things. I just poop and go. Wherever. It's very freeing.

  19. Congrats, Old Man! It's about time. Now you be a good boy & don't bug the Mrs. too much. Good luck on getting the same meds to take home. They don't ususally like to do that. Better stock up on tylenol!

  21. Joe, you are something! What you have been through!!! Wow. I'm glad you are here and coming home. And although the Mrs. is probably not thrilled about wiping your hiney, I'm sure she's relieved to have you home too.

I have missed your humor. Great to read you again. Keep typin' away, and think how lucky you are not to take bathroom breaks.

  25. One of the goals of my life was to stay away from crotchety old men after growing up with a loony guy who lived across the street. But, I'll make an exception with you. You're too good to pass up.
