Scientific Discovery in New Jersey

This week, in Central New Jersey, a cave was discovered and drawings were found on the walls. Scientists were called in from Rutgers University to study these drawings. Professor Emeritus Jonathon Frink led the group, and after hours of research it was determined that this was a vicious dinosaur that was being fed a woman. It made no sense, until Chelle B and the entire cabal from from Humorbloggersdotcom was consulted and they shed light on the drawing and its significance.

They studied it and announced to the scientific community that this was man's first joke.

"Take my wife,

please."

@ He does seem to have that Rodneyesque look

@ Etta: It is an old and quasi honorable profession

@ Heather: Glad it made you laugh :)

@ Paul: I wouldn't say it either. I blame the Caveman

@ Dizz: Thanks :)

@ Shadow: Hope you're feeling better. I enjoy your writing so much.

@ Jenn: The Hennius Rex is the dinosaur I was trying to draw. Note my mad "Paint Skillz." The Dangerfieldus just gets no respect.
:(

@ Reforming: LOL @ Stoogasaurus

@ Michelle: Yeah, it's snowy and bitter cold. :(
I live relatively close to you, so I get to enjoy the same crappy weather

I've gotta say..

I'm kind of disappointed in you Crotchtey.

I mean, you're trying to claim that drawing as your own, but everyone who reads knows that you had to outsource to Bee in order to get those cave drawing right!

And it was Hennius Youngmanis Rex that first coined the phrase..

But it was along the lines of:

"Take my wife..."

"Please!"

The dramatic pause is what made it quite funny back in the day!

@ Jormen: You are right. It was sort of implied, but not everyone is familiar with the comedy master that was Henny Youngman. I just put a dramatic pause into the post.
Thanks.

What Marvel Goose said. Bwahahahahaha.

Have a terrific day. :)

Jeez! And I thought I had no pride.
Also fyi, the drawing actually depicts a primitive rite from the day, a single woman out for a night of fun being picked up
by one of the first lounge lizards.

His opening line was usually something like, "Say, you look good enough to eat."

Lame, but amazingly effective.

Beautiful! And as crude as that drawing is, it's better than anything I could do...

He stared at Dangerfields!

Da Old Man said...

@ Bradley: Yeah, it was a groaner.
:)

@ Sandee: Thanks. Yes, he had a good line. I set it up, and he knocked it down. :)

@ Humor: I'm a sellout. Shameless, too.

@ The Hawg: I have art skilz

@ Lauren: 2 shows a night
