Paul, Matt, Kate, Panda, Eve, and Sensei also scored multiple points.
But the winner was a newcomer to our contest "Candid Carrie"
Does this gun make my ass look fat?
She wins the prestigious Zucchini Award, and 1000 entrecard credits.
Second place went to Dad the Dude, and third place was JD. Second and third was unbelievably close, and Lauren was just behind them. Congratulations to the winners.
And speaking of recognition, this blog was awarded the

By now, everyone knows I never follow the rules for these things. But I always like to get them and use them to recognize some of the many bloggers I read faithfuly. And I always give the awards with no expectations. The awardee is welcome to use it to recognize up to 8,749 other blogs, but usually most choose no more than 5.
I'd like to pick Plain Ole Mike. This blogger can tell a story with humor. http://plainolemike.blogspot.com/
Secondly (lastly,) I'd like to award it to the Jannaverse. http://jannaverse.blogspot.com/
This blogger consistently cracks me up. Her sense of humor? Offbeat is probably the best description. I think youse will like it.
And let me close this fabulous awards ceremony with

Damned it...I lost my game, I was on a roll a couple of weeks ago....CONGRATS GUYS...
Not that it really matters. For I will NEVER win one for myself, but I was wondering if the prestigious Zucchini Award would taste like zucchini bread if it was breaded and baked??? Oh, oh, and if it was deep fried... Anyway, enquiring minds want to know.
P.S.: Congrats (kinda, sorta) to Candid Carrie.
Darn, Im never gonna taste the zuchini award, haha. What is it like?
I was really hoping to win!
Well, there goes my weekend...
Ah Ms. Carrie...who doesn't/won't use entrecard. Congrats. Well deserved.
@fishhawk-- yum zuchini bread...now you totally spoiled/ruined my day! Crotch-- I think that should be the runner up prizes delivered to each bloggers home.
Congrats - that was a great caption!
Another excellent caption! Woo-hoo, gang!
@ Everyone: I don't vote in the contest, but if I did, that caption cracked me up and I would have gone with it as a solid #1.
Congratulations, winners....and, yes, you all are.
Ahem...still waiting for my chocolate for the last time I voted at the Blogger of the Year award!
;-)
@ Shyne: You never got that? I sent it. I bet your postal working has chocolate breath, if you know what I mean.
woohoo!! congrats winners!
Beginner's luck. The only other think I ever won was a frozen duck. I was seventeen and at that time had no use for a frozen duck.
But this time I am fifty. And it is a ten thousand dollar visa gift card and I can use that.
Now who do I have to sleep with around here to get my prize?
Yay!
Thanks for the bloggy love!
I'd like to thank the academy, and Blogspot, and whatever force of nature enables me to sit on my ass for 12 hours straight while staring at a computer screen.
I see I didn't win any zucchini, but that's ok. Actually I hate zucchini.
So everything worked out well.
See you at The Jannaverse. :)
@ Chat: always so gracious. Thanks for that.
@ Candid Carrie: No gold visa card, just some Zucchini and entrecard credits. But the good part is you don't have to declare this on your taxes, because they are pretty much worthless. I meant priceless. And congrats on the win.
@ Janna: I'm glad you liked it. Congrats again.
Joe, I'd vote my heart out for you but there's just one problem: WHERE THE HELL WAS MY BLOG????? I thought I'd be in there SOMEWHERE (anywhere). You know I write with you in mind. Every day I wonder, will this be something that speaks to him? Makes him want to live another day?
Ooo, congrats to all who won awards! Awards are good. :) I so enjoy this blog and I loved that caption -- damn, wish I had thought of it!
@ Dana: I know you would. I actually think of you before I make very post. You are my muse. And I voted for you for humorblogger of the year.
@ Angie: Thank you. Next week, will be another chance for you to win. This competition is tough.
Damn! I knew I was going to win. Something fishy is going on.
Oh wait. I didn't enter this week. Nevermind.
Cool, thanks. I appreciate the kind words.
@ Bradley: You have to be in it to win it.
@ Mike: Glad to. I really enjoy your blog.
One day...One day I shall get that zucchini award! lol. I like being mentioned though. Thanks to the crotchety staff.
