Room 444

Play that number!

I had my catherization today. It just wore me out. They picked me up from JFK this morning at 12:00 am and brought me here to RWJUH...Kept me up asking questions that were already in my files. By the time I finally fell asleep it was time to go to the Cath Lab.

I do have some blockage but it can be treated with meds and I will be getting a pace maker down the road.

I have yet to speak with a new neurologist for my brain stuff.

Now for a nap!

Let them ask questions - that why there's a good chance they'll get it right. Naps are good. Take care, get better, come home.

Well, you are in a great hospital for all the stuff you need done. You'll be rewired and back among us in no time. We're thinking about you and praying for you every day!

As long as you're able to answer their questions, that's got to be good sign. Get better soon.

They make it difficult to sleep don't they. Always something that needs doing. Try to get some rest Crotchety. Just get well. You hear? I thought you did. :)

Hell, just go to sleep. If they keep waking you, go crazy on their head and claim it's because your old neurologist messed up the meds. Sorry.

Hospitals are the worst places to try to recover from anything.

Glad the cardiac cath went well and your prognosis is good. Scratch that off The List of Evil Things To Be Done To Crotchety.

Look forward to your updates as always.

Hi doll face! Cardiac Caths' are fun aren't they? My hubs has had three, also 7 stints, in his legs and heart, just saying you will be fine. I posted about you and made you a sign. Make sure you scream loud enough for them to hear this; "Leave the anus alone!" Cannot wait for you to be back at home ordering the Mrs around. Lots of love!

Well that good news. Meds aren't that bad.Hell if I remember correctly ,I think Viagra was created first for heart problems...so maybe you've got some GREAT side effects to look forward to!!!

Hey Crotchety! I am happy to hear from you! That has to be some type of good omen or something to be in a room with the same three numbers.

Just fill your mind with thoughts of young hot nurses and your rest will be a pleasant one.

Still wishing you the best.

As always, we're worried about you over here.

And when I say "we," I mean me and the cats.

I think that last series of meows was asking you something about nurses and pork rolls, though it might also have been about me needing to scoop the litter box.

Get plenty of sleep and get well soon.

Aw DOM! Wishing this was a done deal for you, but ever so grateful for the updates.

Prayers and good wishes being sent....NOW!

Oh, you just gotta get to feeling better soon. Did you hear the news? TONY ROMO AND JESSICA SIMPSON HAVE BROKEN UP!!! YAHOO!!! Yep, my Cowboys are headed straight to the Super Bowl to win it all AGAIN for sure now.

In fact, there is no need for any of the other teams to even break training camp this year. That is, of course, except for the one team from the AFC that picked the short straw. For my Cowboys will have to actually play against somebody to make it official. It's in the rule book. I looked it up.

You must be on a lot of meds. Picked you up from JFK to go to RWJ...WTF?

Why is it that when it comes to the important stuff, they always wait until you are either drugged out of your gord, or half asleep before they ask? Glad the cath went well, I've done a few of those in my time, always wincing in pain as I did..its one of those acts you wouldn't wish on anyone other then your worst enemy.. Now hurry up and get better, I don't like having any particular blogger on my mind this much..

Glad to hear from you Crotchety. I agree with Deb, the hospital is the last place you can get any rest or recovery. Get home as soon as you can.

Prayers and good vibes coming your way!

Keeping you in my prayers.

You've reminded me to be grateful for all that I have and not take any of it for granted.
Glad to see that you're headed in the right direction ~ just keep getting better.
Lots of folks holding you & your sweetie in their hearts.
Never forget how much you are loved!

GET A GOOD NEUROLOGIST. I can't stress this enough.

I went through some bad ones before I found a good one. At least RWJ is a good hospital.

If, god forbid you need a good neurosurgeon I can give you a recommendation.

All I can say is OUCH! I don't even like thinking about catheters. But who does? And tell them to leave your brain alone, the mofos.

God Bless... will keep you in my thoughts..

What the hell? What's with you getting all wonky while I;m gone?

My thoughts are with you, Joe.

You're getting a pacemaker down the road? Shouldn't you be getting that down the chest cavity instead? :) I know those nurses have been messing with all the roads, lately. But still.

Get some rest, Crotchety. You've been through a lot. Plus a little bad TV and infomercials should help.

Glad that the blockage can be treated with meds. Good luck with the new brain doc! He'll never figure you out if we can't by now! Get well soon!
