*gives a respectable moment of silence*
I will never forget. I had some friends at the Pentagon
I will never forget.
As a Canadian, I will never forget.
Thoughts out to Jim, his family, all 911 victims and their families also.
We will never forget. . .
...
In memory of all lives lost on that terrible day.
...
I will never forget. Today I am working where all the press is. there is a meninite choir singing right outside. I'll post some images and videos later on my blog. The saddness started to overwhelm me and I had to leave and go inside.
Make the bastards pay another 7 years!
I'm very sorry about your friend. That was the most hard to believe day I'd experienced during my lifetime.
Excellent tribute, Crotchety!
I was surprised at the many posts this morning, all forgetting about 9/11. And the few who remembered, did an AWESOME job.
Thank you
My sincerest regrets for your loss. Lovely tribute!
I'm using the graphic and adding this tribute to the main page along with Dana's, Joe, and I'm sorry for your loss. :(
I'm sorry for your loss, old man! It's a loss for all of us! Great post!
I'm sorry about your friend. Thanks for sharing the prayers for peace site.
Thanks for your post. Yor friend will never be forgotten and I will never forget.
Sorry about Jim.
*Keeps chin up and gives a moment of silence.*
...

Sorry about your friend.
so sad. A nice tribute.
A lovely tribute...
My thoughts are with everybody who lost a loved one and those that helped America put ourselves back together. :o(

Never Forget...
Nicely done Old Man.
Well I have no disillusions. I think I DO forget. And honestly... I even brazenly breezed through THIS day w/o much thought until seeing this post. So THANK you. I needed that.
It's very sad that as the years go by you see how many people have simply forgotten that horrible day. Each year that passes a few less flags go up. The local newspapers pay tribute, but dedicate a few less pages honoring the heroes that lost their lives that day.
This year after moving to a new city (Philadelphia) further from NYC than I had previously lived, I for one had almost let this day slip by me. There was basically no rememberance specials on except for flight 93 which happened in PA. It is something that angers me.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families who have lost love ones and who's lives have been drastically altered by those unfortunate events especially to Jim a great man and father!!
Great post!!
My husband was there at ground zero. I still get goose bumps......
A horrid day...
I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. My brother was in a high rise bank near, but not in, all of that. It was a horrific day that I will always remember.
Great tribute.
A moving tribute. We haven't forgotten in Europe either.
