Big TV day today

I spent a lot of time watching TV today, like always. My regular Saturday starts with Showbiz India first thing in the morning, then I move onto sports and end up wih a movie.

I'm not exactly sure why I like watching Bollywood movies as I have no idea what is going on most of the time, but usually I find something to keep my attention

Then I go on to sports. Today I watched part of the Notre Dame-- Michigan game.

I'm not a big fan of college sports, but I do like listening to announcers because they always say really stupid things.

More than once, it was pointed out that the players practiced with wet balls all week. That sounded rather uncomfortable. Photobucket

Yeah, ok, I'm perrenially 13.

And then, last night, I watched No Country for Old Men. What a stupid ending to that movie. Spoiler alert: after 2 hours, the bad guy just walks away, the good guy quits, and other guy, hell, I don't know what happened to him. Photobucket

And this movie won a bunch of Oscars, proving, once again, Hollywood is full of morons.

Hollywood morons could learn a lot at:

If she gave you a good slap up the side of your head for posting the picture of Gov. Palin that you did, what is the lovely Ms. Crotchety going to do to you in regards to the Bollywood babe??? Couldn't you figure out a better way of going out in a blaze of glory than daring her to dose you in gasoline and then strike a match way too near by??? Yeah, yeah, yeah, the price of gas is prohibitive, but some prices are worth paying--regardless of the cost!!!

Hey, I know what I'm talking about. For I've been set on fire too many times to count, and it ain't as much fun as some say.

Speaking of setting someone ablaze, I think the Coen brothers should be roasted on a spit! For my wife and I also just watched "No Country For Old Men," and we both had the same look of utter exasperation on our faces when it ended like that. No fade to black--just black, and that ain't American!!!

I follow basically the same schedule. Ain't life great? I'm gonna give Joel and Ethan Cohen a call or have my people call their people and ask them WTF was that ending all about? I'll tell them you want to know!

@ Phuck politics: Movie was a total letdown.

@ Sabrinat: I think he appreciates the fine music, like I do. ;)

@ Fishhawk: I'm willing toi trade taking a punch from the Mrs. In exchange for a good Bollywood movie. That movie just annoyed the heck out of me. Yeah, I know real life sometimes has no resolution, but if I wanted real life, I'd just look out my window.

@ Lauren: lol

@ Shyne: You'l be glad you took it off your list.

@ Don: Thanks. I'd appreciate that. Those bastards.

You said "wet balls"...bwhahahahaha!!!

Funny about No Country for Old Men. Thanks for saving me two hours. I try to avoid all Oscar-winning nonsense. Talladega Nights is more my style.

@ Lipstick: Talladega Nights was much better.
