I had planned to do some other stuff today, but life interfered, so on to the contest and the results.
Dani C and Dad the Dude had multiple first place votes, so you know this is gonna be close. It came down to second and third place votes.
But first, this was the favorite contest yet, according to the judges.
First place votes also went to Bradley, Rubba and The Fly.
Jenn, Kat, Chat, Chris, and Sensei also had multiple votes.
But the winner this week, by one point, was Dad the Dude.
Damn, forgot this is ultra high classy caption...and I looked upon them and said "he, whom sits upon the foot of my bed in an act of defiance in the face of our fathers inserted his digit forth as such"
He is the winner of the coveted Zucchini award, and his name will be placed in a place of honor on the blog.
Second place goes to Dani C, Bradley placed third.

Who are the judges again?
Congrats to the winners. Since it was a classy "caption this," I made sure to drink extra, now Im lying in bed with some woman that looked way better the night before. Now I think Im laying in bed with a Janet Reno look alike. Dang, what did you get me into Crotchety with your caption contests, haha. Im leaving this comment on her computer and then getting the hell out.
All I can say is, that prize is awesome.

@ everyone: All contests are/ were detemined by the staff of Crotchety Old Man International World Wide Headquarters and Discount House of Worship. I don't vote at all. And, while rubba is on staff, he never votes for himself. He sort of has integrity that way. The staff is composed of various friends and family of mine. Only my kid is a blogger. So, the judging audience is tough. They only see the funny, and have no connection to any contestant except rubba, and they really don't like him anyway.
