Whatsis revealed

Lots of good guesses, and some came pretty close. But no one knew that these

are erm, reusable toilet paper/wipes.

Stop that.

You're the one who was all into "going green."

Absolutely not. I would spend the first week trying to flush them down the drain, on accident of course, and then throwing out my shoulder with all the plunge work I would have to do to get them DOWN the drain, because ya know I wouldn't touch if after wiping, especially after one of 'THOSE'...lmao

Joanie said...

Now I've seen everything! I'm with Chica. I'd be plunging all week trying to get the damn things back!

I think I'll stick with those nice, disposable, wet wipes for grown-ups (cottonelle makes them)

You certainly had everyone guessing, Joe!

Oh DOM!

Defiling cute little bunnies and moons and stars with fecal matter?

Oh....that is so wrong...so, so wrong.

I know it wasn't you who invented them...don't kill the messenger yadda yadda yadda.

But oh....

UGH!

(great job in fooling all of us!)

tahtimbo said...

I'm not THAT into going green. Maybe some of those "hollywood" types can give those things a test-run.

Good for you! They are called "wee wipes". Very hygienic, and green, and SOFT. And I didn't guess either.

A New Yorker said...

Oh that is just so gross and so wrong!

jana said...

Hmmm... there is now a tie for most disgusting hygiene product: Reusable toilet wipes, and reusable maxi pads.

Gross.

Old man why would one want to even use REUSable toilet paper???? NOT MOI!!!!

HAPPY TUESDAY!!!

Unknown said...

Wow... these are so NOT the kind of wipes, say, Monk would be happy with.

Technodoll said...

No diff between that and reusable diapers, is there? Like we all used to wear before the big craze of plastic nappies...

Yey for green! LOL

ReformingGeek said...

You are so wicked!

Toilet wipes? Yes. Toilet paper? No. Ick. I'm not worried about the toilet paper. It's biodegradable.

They still look like something for the baby's room, though.

shyne said...

I'm just......speechless!
I'm all for GREEN, but geez.

I Hate Commercials said...

hahaha that is wrong

For babies I suppose. Actually, why not? Cool. Do they have any with a picture of Barbara Streisand on them?

Da Old Man said...

@ Chica: But you'll never run out of TP in the middle of the night.

@ Joanie: I like those wipes.

@ Quirky: The bunnies just cracked me up.

@ Tahtimbo: Let Ed Begley use them.

@ Jan: Apparently, more than one company makes them. Who knew?

@ Lauren: LMAO!

@ SpeakDog: I thought so, too.

@ Michelle: So, you won't be buying my designer line of Crotchety reusable TP? Happy Tuesday

@ Jenn: Monk would burn them afterwards.

@ Technodoll: I still won't use them

@ Reforming: Yes, I am.

@ Shyne: We both have limits.
:)

@ I Hate: Wrong, but so so right for funny

@ Don: You gave me an idea. Designer ones with celebrities. I'd love to wipe my butt on Streisand's face.

The Hussy Housewife said...

Hmmm. Who has to wash them?? Not me.

Not to green if you add up al the water resources you have to use to get he stains out!

Unknown said...

That is GROSS!

Moooooog35 said...

Wait.

Are you saying that toilet paper is not usually reusable?

I suppose that explains these dung beetles.

Sandee said...

Never even heard of them before. Reusable? I don't think so.

Have a terrific day Crotchety. :)

Swirl Girl said...

Great - now the Hollyweirdo's will be touting these as the next best thing to ...disposable wipes??

Paparrazi will be sifting through trash cans and selling them on ebay.

nonamedufus said...

DOM, do they come in a larger size? It's not easy being green, or brown or any other colour like that.

Unknown said...

I didn't cloth diaper my babies, I am not cloth wipin my ass either.

Da Old Man said...

@ Hussy: What are a few stains among friends?

@ Sherry: Pretty much

@ Mooog: Not usually.

@ Sandee: Have a great day, too. So, you won't be ordering soon?

@ Swirl: They may be selling, I won't be buying.

@ Nonamed: I'm not sure

@ Stacie: But they are so darn environmentally friendly.

kalos_eidos said...

Going green (or in this case brown) is all well and good, but some things should not be reused. But wipes would be one of them. Blechhhh!

kalos_eidos said...

Butt wipes, even. I should learn to spell.

mincognita said...

Ewwww. Ewwww. Ewwww.

lilaphase said...

Hey - I'd like to order a dozen.

That's 3 for each of us. That should be plenty!

Jen said...

Some things just shouldn't be reusable. Toilet paper, feminine products, condoms, Kleenex, Q-tips. Seems to me the washing of these items to ensure that they are indeed worthy of a second use would counteract all the good of using reusable. Paper is biodegradable. Ick. This is why I am not a tree hugger. I like my SUV and I like my toilet paper. I never thought they would both be considered wasteful.

The Self-Deprechaun said...

hmm..after i have eaten my white castle burgers. those patterns will bleed and will disintegrate.

Lin said...

And I thought cloth diapers were disgusting. I'm gonna pass on these I think.

Da Old Man said...

@ Kalos: I don't see these as very sanitary.

@ Min: LOL

@ Lila: I wonder if you would need "company" wipes.

@ Jen: I always thought it was a renewable resource, too.

@ Self: Those Castle burgers can be dangerous for the wipes.

@ Lin: I'm going to pass, too. But it's good to know they are available in case you change your mind. Bookmark the site.

Do you have to make sure you're using both sides?

What? Really? Yuck!

Man, there's "going green" and then there's just plain, old "going insane."

Heh. I could have gone the rest of my life without knowing what those things are!

Da Old Man said...

@ Paul: I have no idea. But I am now worrying about it.

@ The Hawg: Knowledge isn't always beneficial, I guess.

Venom said...

I believe they make reusable sanitary napkins sort of like these too -- one word, eeew.

Unknown said...

Well done! I think you are going to be right up there with Kathy at Junkdrawer for giving us the weirdest crap to figure out. Who would use these? Never mind I know many many people would, specially when the maid was the one doing the washing of them.

Lord, I want to be whole said...

oh no...that is so wrong! i guess i won't go completely 'green'.

I ♥ your blog!!
